One of the best most honest video I have ever seen you don't hide any of the problems you had too many videos are just a bowl of cherries and cream and then you don't see the four or five times they've had problems with things. Menu on a great video and thank you for the information

I changed the water pump on my 1995 Roadmaster which has an LT1 and I drove it for about 10 minutes and the water pump is blistering hot. It got up to operating temperatures and the hoses seemed to be a normal hot and puffy feel. Advice? Thx

I remember that connector for the vapor gas, there is one also at the fuel pump that I had to cut when replacing the fuel pump in our 2004 Corolla, I have special pliers for the lips but nothing works on it sometimes; mechanic shops are no different; they can screw those connectors as easy and there is no way I am paying $1400 to a dealer got the part from Rockauto from manufacturer Standard CP3495, made here, for $280 out the door, saw a Dorman cheaper but made in china, no thanks. A shop down the road wants to charge $250 labor, clear codes and tests; I have a computer and can clear them codes myself, but are them codes suppose to clear once the valve is operating again? the codes point to a stuck valve. Great video.

Does any fluids leak out of the hoses when you replace it? Do you have to clamp the hoses first?

I have no check engine code, each time I fill up gasoline on my 2006 Corolla, I have to rev it up or it will die on me, could that related to this fuel canister?

Don't think you're a good mechanic when you can't even tell us that the slide bolts are different and where they go. Talking about everything else. Besides the stuff that people don't know cause they're not familiar with new technology.😊😅😮

Look at how old the video is. Now look at your comment. And now for my best advice. You don’t like it and think you can do better? Do it. I’ll watch it. Heck I’ll give it a thumbs up if you can do it better.

That tab was the bane of my existence for what felt like an hour. Followed by the rusted bolts. 🥲 I might eventually need to buy a new canister. For now it's just one I pulled from the junk yard that appeared to be in better shape than mine.

I dodged a bullet with my residential AC, they said I needed a new contactor and wanted $500 bucks to replace it. I did it for $25. I took my car in this morning and the diags indicate a leak from the evap canister. Their price for replacement was not as bad as the dealer, $700, however with a quick search and your video I'm going to do this myself. Thanks for this.

Do you have any idea on what is holding the 5/16" fuel return line in on an 01 S10??? I have done all the things you have done, but there is no room between the firewall and the valve/rocker arm covers. From what I can feel, there is a bolt down there and some steel or plastic bands below the cover that have to come off then the line should be free. I have the one bolt out past that that is on the transmission but the line still won't come out. Any ideas???

So much easier than these modern vehicles with the engine crammed under the hood so tight you can't do anything without engine-out service. I just got rid of my 2013 Chevy Sonic with the junk 1.4L turbo engine and I'm looking at getting an early 2000s Silverado with one of these 4.3L engines. Trying to educate myself on any potential work I may have to do. I changed all of the injectors on a Chevy 3.1L V6 in the parking lot of an apartment building so this job looks very manageable in an apartment parking lot as well.
