The loud sound is coming from the cam not the magnaflow. Maggie’s are fairly quiet if everything else is stock

Tsp l92 stage 3 cam, longtubes, catless... mine sounds same at idle with stock muffler. His is louder once on throttle... only issue, then its too loud

The dude drove it there & then got stuff done to his car. You tell me if it’s warm or not 😂 the car didn’t sit there for days to get a muffler job done and they showed the gages it was warm.

The idle is good but it's way to quiet when he revs is my 4.8 with a flowmaster and cats is louder and I have videos to prove it

I put the Magnaflow on there because the Flomaster FlowFX was way too loud. The Magnaflow is about half as loud as the Flowmaster was. It sounds good at idle and makes a little noise when you get in it. I might remove the factory resonator to see if I can get just a little more sound out of it. Otherwise, this muffler sounds great. And I can actually have a conversation while I'm driving down the road.

@@WFKU. thanks good info. Yours is flat out the best I've heard out everything including full aftermarket fatback. What headers and Y pipe do you have? Do you have cats or no? Did you do dyno tune or HP tuners or something else. I'm about to tear into mine to replace leaky front and rear mains. I figure it was time for cam headers and at least muffler swap. Already have hp tuners ready to go.

Nothing wrong with making the big girl get down I have an 07 yukon denali xl with the 6.2 and its stock and she is no slouch for a big truck it actually surprisingly fast but wish it had more hense heads cam headers free flowing exhaust and better intake and a tune! Makes taking the kids to and from there different obligations way more fun!
