A marvelous machine! This type of flat-twin air cooled engine is ideal for testing an Sleeve-Valve distribution, either Burt-McCollum (Argyll, Bristol), or Piccard-Pictet, also the Sanglas Disc brake with the look of a Drum brake, very apprecciated by British motorcyclists for rainy weather. Some of these Ural-Dnepr motorcyles had start problems of an origin unkonwn to me. Salut +

One point missed... the core of the Ural bikes used to be the BMW engine. I’m not sure which one was used. This is still BMW?

A version/copy of the old push rod airhead. No longer a bad thing. As these have gotten progressively much better. Gone are the square/ sorta round gears that would puke out the front of the engine. Nor is the grenade/ alternator that would destroy the boxer. Oh, and breaks that were only in your imagination. Back in the adolescent years. But they were cheap to buy. Not so much anymore. Still cool though.

@@АнтонМантон-е7ж да нет.эьи модели хт600 ендуро идут с гиками и без.все дело в цене.купил с рук.а так я бы обязательно с гиком купил бы.
