Not sure what you needed to see, anything specific? I did explain it very well, for what I didn't show. Sorry for that.

I didn’t hear you say anything about replacing the welsh plug???
@wickedrepairs85272 жыл бұрын
I'll have to take a look back and see, I believe this one already had the plug drilled out.

I have one that idles but dies when I give it gas. Need a bit of help. New gas pump, filter and carburetor and fresh gas.

A new carburetor? Is it a yamaha carb or aftermarket? If it idles properly then your pilot jet/circuit should be clean and clear. Sounds like there is an issue with the throttle needle, main jet, emulsion tube or the diaphragm.

Is a new welsh plug part of a carb kit?
@wickedrepairs85272 жыл бұрын
The kit does not come with a new plug. It will come with a new fuel screw, spring, washer and oring. There's no need to put one back in.

Why not show how to REMOVE the carburetor??
@wickedrepairs85272 жыл бұрын
Next one I get, I will. It's fairly simple on these. 1. Remove both seats 2. Remove the center console, there is no hardware holding it on, the seats allow for the cover to stay put 3. Remove both boot clamps, front and rear of the carburetor 4. Remove the fuel line, there may be some fuel residual but should not flow as it is vacuum pump operated. If fuel flows steadily clamp the line. If it flows, the check valves in the fuel pump are no good and the pump should be replaced. 5. Remove 3 screws on the right side of the carb and remove the triangular cover that protects the throttle cable. 6. Remove the throttle cable brass end piece by manually twisting the throttle mechanism forward and pulling the brass holder off. Then unscrew the cable from the carb with a 8mm wrench 7. Remove the choke cable with a 12mm wrench There is also a breather hose that is attached that will come off nor problem, just be sure to put it back on. Then Remove the carb from the machine.
