Did you just replace your ESL with an electronic emulator? Your SRS Airbag light is on and your ESP light is on (Triangle shaped light). This is how to reset both of those lights.
If you just replaced your Electronic Steering Lock ESL with an electronic emulator or another factory steering lock. You may have an airbag SRS light on and a traction control inoperative message or ESP malfunction light on.

I have a 2009 Mercedes Benz C300 and two warnings are showing up "Brake EBR, ABS, and ESP Inoperative" and "Power Steering Malfunction" which seem to be very concerning warnings. The fault codes are 5001 and 5944 on the obdII scanner. Everything seems to be operating normally, the brakes and steering seem to have no problem. I was just wondering if there can be an easy fix for this or any advice? This car was a hand me down and I'm broke, so any help would be appreciated. Thank you and subscribed!

2010 c300 sometimes when sliding, my esp comes on, limp, and only resets when i restart the car. It doesn't malfunction at any other time than abuse which is understandable. Today my FL srs malf stays on and i am wondering is there a master module or something that may be failing for me?

My w204 driver's seat finally went out . I checked the fuses, and they are currently fine ( not blown ) . I had the same issue, but the driver seat would sometimes return to normal or not even move or stay stuck . There have been 3 if not more times I had to change the fuses . The door controls still light up so there must be power going in. Your thoughts ?

The motors that move the seat can come off of the track resulting in irregular directional movement of the seat or no movement at all. It’s likely an issue with the motors.

@mercedesbenzspecialist Hi I have a esp symbol to show up every time I drive my car , it goes into limp mode I have to floor it to drive , currently whenever I start my car , put into drive and press on accelerator the esp pops up, I was told it could be accelerator pedal sensor. Any advice?

Have it scanned for a trouble code. That will point you in the right direction.

I just had my esl replaced by a mechanic about 2-3 weeks ago and now the abs light and traction control light are on. Did they mess something up should I be concerned about this? Or should I just delete the code on my own?

If you already tried the steering angle reset featured in this video and it did not work. You most likely have a broken steering column module. This happens when doing the steering lock removal if it’s not done very carefully.

2011 c300, just replaced esl with a emulator and am having the same lights come up, along with none of the buttons/horn not working, could this be fixed by clearing the Codes with the scanner, I would like to know before I buy the scanner ???

Just send us an e-mail with your order number and we will get in touch with you. [e-mail] No the scanner will not correct the steering wheel buttons/horn not working. Something was damaged during the removal/installation. Could be the steering column module or the airbag that was removed from your steering wheel during the repair.

I have 2009 mercedes C 350, SRS malfunction light is on and car won't start, I changed the battery and the car started right up and the srs code is gone, my battery wasn't even dead but it wasn't pushing out the volts it needed to run properly

This video is for those who have removed the airbag to remove the steering wheel to fix the ESL problem in their 2008-2014 C class. It does not apply to every situation of SRS malfunction. If your SRS light is on for a different reason than this will not fix it.

You have to fix it first you can't just turn it off

In this case the light is on because the airbag was disconnected to remove the steering wheel. If the the negative cable of the battery was not disconnected while the airbag was disconnected. The SRS light will turn on. Once it’s been reconnected the light can be erased.
