DO NOT use a regular soldering iron to try and solder these tiny joints. Use only a microscope and micro soldering iron 👍🏾

How long did that take to replace

if this method does not start the vehicle could it be an indicator that the starter is faulty? I am having trouble turning on my car, I've replaced the battery and the relay but has not fixed the issue. The old battery was almost 5 yrs old so it needed to be replaced anyway and the relay was cheat so it was justifiable to change those, but now I am wondering if the starter is the issue. Does someone have any suggestions?

Hi, I have a c200 and when I put the key in the ignition all the dash lights go on, steering lock works, radio and AC work but no crank. I did the bypass with the relay and it started but when I put the car in D it jerks and doesn’t shift up from gear 1.. please help

I'm having a very similar issue with my 2011 W221 S550 (M273) where sometimes and in cold weather only, the car won't turn on (no crank no start) unless I disconnect the battery for 10 seconds and plug it back in. When it acts up before disconnecting the battery and actually starting, all lights on the dashboard are lit and sometimes my gear selector box disappears (the one that hovers over which gear you're in). If it decides to start without me disconnecting the battery, all of the cluster lights will turn on after like a few seconds to a minute max and the needles will no longer operate or go to 0 even though the engine is still on and is responsive. Also, sometimes it displays dashes (- - - - -) for mileage before I disconnect the battery. Could this be the reason why? If so, how much do y'all charge for cloning the EIS module? Can I buy one that has a matching PN (used from another W221 S550) and send it over to you to clone it? Please let me know Thanks!

Hi, key won’t turn in the ignition. Long story short, someone broke into my car and tried to start it with something in the shape of a key. Any idea what this might have caused. My steering is moving and I do get lights on when I insert key but it’s jammed and key doesn’t move.

i have a eis 164 on a 2006 R350 but the inside looks different then yours but looks like the one in your other 164 video where you where cloning my issue is im trying to pull password but my emulator key wont turn so that it can cycle threw the codes whats stopping it from turning ?

I ordered the new EIS for my ml 2010, because I have the same problem in my car some time the engine start but after a few seconds all signal is on the dashboard and no gear it mean no d r and some time no start with message visit work shop with gear shifting specially in Cold wether so when i remove the nigativ cable in battery and put it again it will start and I can drive and some time I didn't remove the nigativ cable in battery I remove the EIS connecter and put it again and the car is starting good and I can drive all day so I am sure the problem from the EIS thanks alot for the good vedios and for give me my English is bad

good morning sr, sr so what's the essence of cloning the eis, when you still have to program a new key and ESL. is that so that the ECU will still be at use? and VGS. what's the essence when you didn't still use the old key and ESL?

I need you guys to check a key for me, but most likely program an ESL emulator for a 2015 C250, is this something you can do, and are you located in the US?

How did you know you needed a starter, did the car have no power at all like most other vehicles?

I have a 2012 c250 it doesn’t have the screws on the back side of the steering wheel for the air bag assembly. It has 2 indentations. But they are not open. I think some are spring loaded. Do I need to poke in those indentations?

Ive just had this problem on my w204 c63 - weird the steering column stopped moving up/down for 2 years and then suddenly 2 weeks ago it works again, only for the ESL to go out🤔

Did you make a video of cutting the bolt to remove the ESL? I've seen one of removing the 13mm nut to the bolt you're referencing to remove the ESL but not actually cutting the bolt and how it would clear the steering column housing once cut. Does it simply have enough play once cut to clear the bolt hole?
