Thanks, I was looking all over the engine compartment for the cabin air filter, but couldnt find it. Wouldn't have guessed I had to go through the glove box.

On the Ford Five Hundred, Ford put only the OUTLINE of a filter door. Score the top/sides lines,fold it down, YES! there IS room for cabin filter. Clean it up first, then use 10134 or interchange number works, but use 1inch foam strip to fill it in tight. Duct tape door back on. Done.

I have a 2008 MKZ, was able to buy a cabin air filter replacement however it has no tab or removable faceplate to change out? Possible it doesnt have one?

Yes if you don't see that tab that's removable it doesn't have it, in between 2008 they started switching everything

@@FordBossMe yeah mine don’t have one either was pretty upset previous owner smoked that’s all I smell wanted to change filter but nope don’t have one so went with a ozone treatment worked great

I’ve got an 09, and I can’t get the filter to pop off at all. The dealership told me I didn’t have a cabin air filter and I didn’t believe them, but I think in 09 they didn’t have one

This is just a general area 2008/2009 is really when most of the started and this is a video covering a wide spectrum of things so you got to chill I'm not doing things specifically to appease you

Actually manufacturers depending on when things started being built and what plant they were being built that started some production of new things early because they ran out of older parts and this is a common practice in the field so you have to know what you're talking about before you say things
