I remember going to that game as a sophomore from UF. I sat in the FSU student section with some FSU friends I went to high school with. That was the best experience. The fans were talking so much shit, and then by the 3rd quarter and that pouring rain, the stadium was almost only UF fans at the end. SO satisfying!

@@michaelbarnett2527 FSU can claim one of your national titles. That's embarrassing. UF has been playing for almost 120 years and still has ZERO perfect seasons. FSU and Miami(FL) have multiple. FSU and Miami(FL) started their football programs DECADES after UF and won a national title first. Every national championship UF has is disputed/backdoor. UF is without a doubt the worst of the Big 3.

2008 was the best Gator team ever. The 1996 team was better offensively. But 2008 was head and shoulders better defensively and on special teams.

UF has a 50 year or so head start on having a football team over FSU. In half the time, FSU has the same number of national championships and the same number of Heisman Trophy winners. Seems to me, FSU might just actually be better.

I would give anything to see the Gators go on a winning streak over fsu 15 games , best Gators ever done was a 9 year streak from 68-76 & a 49-0 shutout in 1973 over fsu , the 90's is what killed everything Steve spurrier showed up & fsu became dominant I don't like that
