I had just replaced this in mine, I was searching for videos of where it was located and wasn't coming up with much. That's a filter housing even though audi calls it a flange. It has a few dollar paper filter in there. The pump is on the other side the wires that plug into it are grounds.

You don't need to take the seat rail off. You just grab the seat at the front and pull up it will come out.

Hey man great video, I have an Audi A4 2011 and it rinks of gas in the backseat, any idea what it could be? The fuel pump looks fine I’m thinking it’s a hose or something

Yheison Godinez Im not sure if the A4 has the same setup but it’s highly possible matter fact take the seat out and take the covers off and crank it up u will be able to see where the leak is it’s very similar to the other Audi’s

@titanmone I have a Audi Q7 2007 3.6L and the gas is leaking on the driver side. Exactly where you replaced this part at in your video. It leaks while on a full tank. Also when I hit the gas then let go you can see it drip out or when I come to a stop. My question is how do I tell if the tank is cracked, it's the fuel pump & filter or high pressure pump. Without pays Audi so much. Just to tell me what the issue is. I may use them after I figure out the cost but not before.
