Jeździłem takim ładnych parę lat (silnik 1.4). Wkurzało głośne zawieszenie, za to niezawodność 100% (170 tys zrobiłem nim). Proste w serwisowaniu, solidnie zrobione, zwłaszcza wnętrze dzielnie zniosło próbę czasu i przejechanych km. Dzisiejsze auta są nijakie, GP ma ponadczasowy design i nie można go pomylić z żadnym autem.

I have a 1.3 diesel as my first car, it has 240 thousand kilometers but it runs like a clock. This year I’ve dove over 20 thousand kilometers and it is very economical and comfy, the interiors are great even if they have started to rattle a bit, the engine is still super strong and when the turbine kicks it flies

Na takim zdawałem prawo jazdy. 65 KM z podtlenkiem LPG i 260 kkm przebiegu. Jak przełączył się na benzynę to takiego kopa dostawał ;) . Ale obiektywnie - ładne auto o ponadczasowym designie, bardzo przestronne w środku i o niewysokich kosztach utrzymania.

Jeździłem taką służbówką w 3 drzwiowej wersji. Bardzo fajny samochód. Jak zacznie gwizdać turbina i usłyszysz od jakiegoś magika "ten typ tak ma", to życz wesołych świąt, omiń szerokim łukiem i poszukaj prawdziwego fachowca. Dlaczego o tym wspominam. To typowa przypadłość tej jednostki. Trzeba na początku nieco bardziej deptać, zaczyna więcej palić a to turbo należy wymienić a nie dawać naciągaczom do "regeneracji".

Na minus - kultura pracy i dynamika 1.2, tam się nic nie dzieje. Przednie zawieszenie - stabizatory i drążki to norma na naszych drogach, na szczęście części tanie jak barszcz. Szkoda, że nie ma z tyłu tarcz i klocków, tylko są bębny. W pierwszych wersjach Grande rurka wyplywu wody z podszybia byla ułożona niefortunnie tak, że kapała woda w czasie deszczu na alternator. W Evo np jest już to poprawione. Pasek alternatora w 1.2 w wersji bez klimy naciąga się śrubami, regulując pozycję alternatora, w 1.4 jest podobnie. Sam samochód - dość ładny, przyjemny dla oka, tani w utrzymaniu, nie ma większych problemów z rudą. Na minus - mało praktyczny, słaby bagażnik, siedzenia tylne nie składają się w linii prostej, tylko pod dzwinym katem, przez co w wersji 3D zapomijcie o przewiezieniu komody z Ikei ;)

8 valves though. Imagine what it could do with 16v! I had a Punto Sporting back in 2003, and even that had a Fiat 1.2 16v engine with 80hp in it. So I don't know why Fiat only put the 8v 65hp version in the newer Grande Puntos. This 8v engine is a Fiat Panda engine. far too slow for the Punto. 0-100... 16.7 secs!

@@droge192 I completely agree. I've had a few Punto's including mk1, and they were all quicker than this one. The Grande Punto was bigger and heavier than any other Punto's before, and yet Fiat still put that engine in. I've said it many times in the past that the only way to drive a small engined Fiat is to thrash the guts out of it, but in this car it really is true 😁 you can't overtake anything unless the rev counter is at the stop

Nah. I have Meriva A 1.3 CDTI and it did very well on the highway despite of its 75 HP. As long as you can accelerate to 120-140 km/h you are fine. It's not a race and it doesn't matter how fast you get to these 120-140.

The engine is too basic for such a relatively heavy car. The big turbodiesel or t-jet engines are better choices.
