These are absolutely excellent trucks. My grandfather bought an F150 XLT super cab new in June 2005. Has the 5.4 with the tow package. We tow cars and trailers with it regularly. The truck is up to 125,000 miles now and has never missed a beat. It consistently gets mileage in the high teens pulling trailers or cars on a car dolly (and you don't even know they're back there), low 20's unloaded (we got a best of 23 mpg on a trip to Florida with the cruise control set on 65 most of the way).

I have a 2007 5.4L Supercab 2WD, 160,000 miles crossed this year and no issues mechanically. Only spent $1500 at the Ford dealer for cylinder misfires, but that isn't terrible considering it is the only major expense. Keep in mind I drove it 600 miles with it misfiring and still got home fine. Easily pulls a boat and the 36 gallon fuel tank allows me to quit worrying about running out of gas. Who else has their F-150 still?

Seen February 13, 2019. I ordered new in 2008. Base model XL trim. 5 speed with air conditioning. My current mileage is 34K. I have no intention of trading the truck. Maintenance is key to any vehicle. Thank you

Mmm for this year there are much better choices it's not bad but the 08 to 10 GMC/Chevrolet have had less problems than this one, however go to the the 09 to 12 f 150 is a better choice, but a 08 I would take a GMC or Chevy as they have Less problems, the 08 150 is like an expensive wife if you aren't careful and forget her birthday little things become big things on the 08 ford

People don't buy pickups for performance, they buy them for work. The GMC may have more power, but the f-150 can out haul it and out tow it. There is more to towing and hauling than just HP.

the only complaint i have with ford trucks is their manual transmissions when they used to offer them on the V8 models. the clutch engagement point was too high in the pedal travel and the shifter felt notchy and tractor-like, but the one i drove was a very solid and otherwise outstanding truck, ford makes some very high quality trucks, but im still a chevy fan myself. as long as its american, its good to me

the numbers sound really bad in comparison but how much power do you possibly need in a truck. just 15 years ago people were amazed when trucks had over 200 hp.

I have an 07 xlt super crew 110, 000 to date the only problem has been a door lock actuator regular oil changes air filter and I dog it on a regular basis before it I had a 97 went to 150k miles with zero problems bronco 351 with 150k zero problems built ford tough

I have '07 XLT Super cab and I love mine...I wish I had an '07 LARIAT instead!!! I love the '07 and '08 F150's more than the new Ford trucks...especially the flareside F150's all leveled out with 18" wheels...Just beautiful trucks in my opinion!!

i love these style f150s, the 5.4 aint the most powerful but it'll get the job done, put a few mods on it and it'll have plenty of power. oh and the guy talking sounds a lot like tanner foust.

@MPLSTORM i have a 1999 ford f-150 with 230,000 miles. it just started to have engine problems for the first time last night. it just needs a little tune up and it'll be good as new again. the tranny also works amazingly well! nothing wrong there. oh, and i use this for work in muddy areas everyday. its not a truck for a toy.

Ford doesn't use push rods in their engine like dodge and chevy, and the shocks outside the frame made it able to corner fast :D I love my ford! best part is i get 800+kms a tank on the highway :D

I’m it’s year, it made the same power as the Chevy 6.0. Which is pretty good considering it’s only 5.4 liters. Same torque as well. Idk about dodge lol.

I love the 2004 F-150 truck I have and it has plenty of power under the hood with the 5.7L V-8 engine. The traction is wonderful and the interior is nice and comfortable. The only thing I wish it had was a rear camera to make hooking up a trailer much easier.

i just purchase a 07 ford f150 the truck look clean with leather sits power windos and im about to put a dvd radio from amazon. they have one for 400 dollars and is easy to use even is a factory radio for a edge. fits a f150 perfect , i was in the hunt for a alpine but went see the alpine was slow and stupid even the allways have the best tecnology .any ways this new radio is much better option if u want you ride with a entreteiment .
