The 2008 Honda Civic will not start. Even after installing a new battery and battery cable. The starter and ignition system are fine. Turns out, It was the engine to body ground/chassis ground!! Need to keep those grounds clean.

Tried a new battery, but that didn’t work. Checked fuses. So much trouble. Car started to die upon start up in cold and would need a jump. I gave that chassis to body wire a squeeze and moved around a little and boom. Fixed. ONLY for it to be a 5 inch exposed chassis to body ground wire!? It’s ridiculous that it’s not insulated. Definitely replacing it the way you did for future reliability. Thank you soso much. My 07 civic EX is happy now.
