okay I really really enjoyed this. Question: Do you us manual focus on your tripod shots?

Thanks for watching! Yeah I always use manual focus specially when I'm trying to record something where the camera has to be some what close to the subject, once I nail the focusing point I try not to move the part or subject that I'm working on because it will come out of focus , manual focus is more forgiving when using a close aperture like F5.6 to F8 But that defeats the purpose if you have a lens like the sigma F1.4 because you want to use a wide aperture to get a shallow depth of field so the video can look more professional usually cameras are pretty good on detecting faces but when it comes to hands, tools or other types of objects, the camera starts chasing different points to focus because there is to many things going on, even if for some reason my face is going to appear on a wide shot I still use manual focus because as soon the camera detects there is a face in the recording , rapidly changes the focus to my face , instead of keeping the subject in focus I also use manual ISO because when I don't and I'm working on something and I'm moving my lighting around the camera goes dark and or light and when you put the footage on a time-lapse you will get like a strobe light effect every time the iso changes on the camera
