No it isn't air cooled. The air induction is for power, not cooling!

It's called ram air -the faster you go, the more air that gets forced in to the engine, which gives more power!

Did anyone notice his bike is on the kick stand and how much oil is in the sight! Lol if he stands his bike straight up the sight will be full. Clearly WAY too much oil. Can't stand all the people online that have videos pretending the know shit about shit. Leave it to experts. Stop trying to DIY and listening to guys like this.

In case no-one has mentioned it yet (unlikely on the interwebz): Fuel weighs slightly less than water, which is about 1kg/litre. So your 17 litres of gas would be just under 17kg. That would be roughly 37 pounds for gas. Other than that - this is definitely much more thorough than your previous walkaround. Almost painfully so! (this is a decal ;) ). I envy you ;) I'm still eyeing my first bike, but it would probably be in the 250 class.

Great video bro...I just bought the same bike in cobalt blue color. Can you help me answer 2 questions: 1. I see a oil symbol showing up on my bike its at 1,300 mileage. Does this mean I need to get a oil change done? 2. How would I go about putting on a fender eliminator kit on the bike? Is it an easy install?

What tire pressures are you running on? I''m a newbie , I just bought a '07 cbr600rr. The manual calls for 36 front and 42 rear. That seems a little too extreme. Does the riders weight have any bearing on tire pressure? I'm 150.

ya, since its on the kickstand it skews the level... you have to pull the bike straight for it to read correctly.

@Jillaroo79 Im 5' 10" maybe 11" 205 pounds. and i have the 600 and it feels pretty light for me and i use it everyday to get to work. The reason i choose the 600 is because it looks alot better than the 250 in my opinion also the tires are alot narrower so not as much fun with cornering if your into it. pros with 250 is cheaper insurance and better MPG. since your short your gonna have to lower it. i think if you get a 250, within months your gonna want a 600.

Nice walkaround, but one question, how can your bike be air cooled if you have a radiator and coolant reservoir? ..lol. And I think you meant four cylinder vice four cycle...hehe.
@80sHitz14 жыл бұрын
Nice bike man. In my opinion some of the latest models of the Japanese sport bikes didn't come out looking so great. The new Ninja 1000 looks weird, so does the new R1 and the latest CBR fireblade has a round head, which makes it look less aggressive. I prefer the slightly older look for these bikes.
@Busatto200413 жыл бұрын
so i am about 5'7 and 145 pounds......i like this bike a lot and the color black and yellow too....but im debating for this or a 2010 250 ninja....soo what are the price difference would you think for the 2008 zx6R to the 250r ninja??? also i am concern abour the height....would the bike be to big and bulky for me??? thanks man hope to hear help from ANYONE!!!
@lifeisgood07014 жыл бұрын
you add a lot more than 6lbs to the dry weight to get wet.... fuel, oil, brake fluid, suspension fluid (not sure if they are immersed in oil) & i think there is more. Not sure on the 600cc's, but on the 1000cc's it adds around 50lbs.

@imjustlivin Thats a decent first bike. But if you want a 650 twin, go for a sv650. its a better twin bike. and for the record, 650ccs are slower than 600ccs (600s are i-4). My first bike was (and still is) sv650sf. trust me, its fast enough. Then next upgrade should be anything above 600 depending on how comfortable you are. I'm looking at the gixxer750. But dont listen to people telling you to start on a 250. those are slowpokes. lol

@80sHitz I agree... kawi slaughtered the zx6 in the '10 and '11 models... the r6 doesn't even look as fierce and in my opinion, the r6 has always been the front runner in style.

bit of a nit picky comment , but you state in the weight being 368 lbs, which can't be right. I believe only 2 of the 2010 supersport 600s are sub 400lbs, and it s only by a few lbs, they are around 397lbs. So you might want to double check that info
