These guys are responsible for developing my pasion for aviation. I remember when I started going to airshows when I was 8 years old, I remember thinking, "These guys are amazing, Id love to do this one day." Then I purchased Microsoft Flight Simulator X a few years ago and that inspired me to start flight training.

This show was awesome! My dad works at the Aerial Port as the Air Terminal Operations Manager and I was able to go the day before the show and see the Thunderbirds practice from the roof of the building...absolutely amazing.

Saw them today at Defenders of Freedom Airshow and Open House at Offut AFB, Nebraska. Clear blue skies, but alittle windy, still a great day for flying.

@colinjd123 There are a lot of operational checks that have to be done. If any of the hydraulic systems is low on fluid, they have to hook up and service it down at End Of Runway with engines still running, then check it again. These checks have to be made with engine running.

@cyberian While I don't think there's anything wrong with a female pilot, or a woman having a job, you seem to be speaking as if it's degrading or shameful to be a stay at home mother. Some women think there's nothing more noble than for a woman to raise her children and care for her family. Personally, I'm a little offended at that insinuation. However, you're right about women in combat. In the USSR all of the snipers were women. So it's not a new concept. Maybe these people live under rocks?
