Fun fact: "Wald" in German means "Forest" Always love spotting the Open Deck in the background, I miss mine :(

Also, the left of the Wald logo is the AMG logo flipped and upside down :D We have some good stuff planned for our bB's. They are such great cars! /Max - Grüße :)

@@PacificCoastAuto Can't wait for more Open Deck content! If TÜV wouldn't be so painful and expensive, I would've brought mine back home with me :( Hope also your Altezza is alive and well, Max :)

Yeah that held me up from importing a car, too when I was still in Germany. It is possible, but costs a lot. Thanks, the Altezza is alive and well, drives better than ever! /Max

The Wald Chevy Express and Dodge Caravan are so good. Never seen a better looking kit for minivans

If I had overactive loins, it would be my go-to choice too. In particular, the Hybrid one.

05:20 The rear seems to be sitting just a bit high though.

In Mercedes langauge - thats a 'Compact' - it has the shorter wheel base, and the stubby back end. You can see that the sliding door rail extends all the way to the rear lights. Next size up is the'Long' or 'LWB' - this has the same wheel base, but around 300mm added behind the rear wheels - so you get a decent boot even with 3 rows of seats fitted. You can see the difference as the sliding door rail finishes 300mm or so before the rear lights. The largest is the 'XLWB' - this has an extended wheel base, the rear wheel is much further rearward of the sliding door, plus the same extension behind the rear wheel as the Long. These are pretty huge and even available with 4 rows in some markets (Asia). I have a 2013 Viano V6 and its brill.

Oh and ref ride height - Vianos/VClass have air on the rear - you can see the controller on the right side pillar when you have the boot open. Auto ride height levelling whether full or empty and you can drop it to the deck to make it easier the load stuff into the back too.

Fun fact the predecessor to this model came with a VR6!

A really neat import choice, 3.5 V6 makes really good power. I wonder if in person its as narrow as the other Japanese vans.

looks like the predecessor to the Metris

Got to be one of the weirdest import choices ever. . .

Weird, but definitely cool. Luxury vans aren’t common vehicles by any means in Canada/USA
