That Rosberg crash would have been a red flag nowadays. Also one of the races where I said kimi had a poor race which contributed to why he didn’t win the championship

His point being over 75% of the race is finished. No need to resume if full pts can technically be rewarded and someone else could crash out in the way Rosberg did, who looking back at it now, was exceptionally fast around Monaco.

@sickemboy9352 there were still 17 laps remaining. Of course you can restart the race from that point. Why wouldn't they? They did so in 2011 when there was an incident on lap 72 and 6 laps to go.

Thanks for the link BZ. This was one of the more eventful Monaco races mainly due to the weather. Lewis Hamilton must be the only Monaco GP winner to the won this race after clouting a barrier.

Raikkonen a very poor race. Punting sutil in the force India out of 4th place at the time was sad.

Yeah i Remember being so so angry cause i always liked the cars at the back more. This was a golden oppurtunity for Sutil.

Sutil's last good showing in 2008. Spa 2008 was okay, but the Force India was much slower throughout that season. 2009 Monza was a good showing, but Fisichella outperformed him for most of that season including a pole at Spa.

Alonso was the worse driver this race. Shocking performance. Crashed into Heidfeld and hit the wall.

Yes he had a bad race made mistakes. He thought Heidfeld would move out of the way because Heidfeld was an experienced driver. Yes it was a risky move he thought Heidfeld would move out of the way. And he hit the barrier but very hard to keep it out of the Barriers Hamilton and other drivers went into the Barrier's.

He misjudged the overtake can be an easy thing to do many drivers have done it. It was very difficult to keep the car out of the Barriers especially if your on the wrong tyres.

Alonso’s Pace was very good but he made mistakes hitting the Barrier and crashing into the side of Heidfeld.

The team radioed him saying your the fastest car on the track then he hit the Barrier straight afterwards.

He expected Heidfeld to see him coming and move out of the way. But no you have to take risks to pass people though. But yes the mistakes Alonso made not what you expect from the double world champion from a brilliant driver like him.

Someone has said on the 2008 Spanish GP Video Button was terrible he wasn’t terrible! He said that after I said that 6th Place would be his only Points finish of the season it wasn’t his fault it was the Car!

heroic drive from the back of the field to 4th by adrian sutil. unlucky to get a big hit from behind by kimi raikkonen, breaking the force india's diffusor. at least he got redemption the year after at monza by eventually finished 4th there. guess who denied him a podium in that particular race? yes, it was again iceman kimi, who again robbed him of a strong result a couple races before at the nurburgring by colliding.
