if anyone ever considers buying a used Peugeot petrol car, have a mechanic check out the timing chain prior to buying the car or else you'll end up having to spend much more money.

@@pickpops498 I once had a pimped out 1.6l Petrol 308 with a 3 speed automatic (the Porsche Tiptronic one supposedly) and God damn, it was a nice car to drive and sit in. But having your car randomly one day just start rumbling hard on the highway gave me a mini heart attack.

I bought a 207 1.4 73 hp and on the way home from the seller the Stop light Oil pressure went on and stayed on until about 50 km further on the motorway the engine broke down, although there was enough oil in the engine. I suspect the oil pump gave up.

@@mg4263 awful situation for sure. My 308 once had the coolant temp gauge hit the red line in winter, had to leave it at a parking lot since I had to get to work somehow and didn't want my engine to overheat. Later on, picking the car up again all was fine..? French electrics sure are a mystery to me.

I had 207 2010 1.4 HDi as my first car. It was very good mechanically and the sound system was impressively good. The only thing I got - electrical problems. Changed headlights every 3-4 months because they've burned out.

na prawdę żwawy z tym silnikiem. Mieliśmy w rodzinie identyczna sztuke ok. 10 lat temu - po 110 kkm poddał sie łańcuch rozrządu co jest problemem w jednostkach VTI

Awesome video as always!!! But i would suggest mounting the second camera somewhere else, the angle is very similar to the main body cam, for example move it behind the steering wheel to film the instrument cluster or on the rear of the car outside for an exhaust note.

I both hate and love this car. It was my first one, so I trully learnt how to drive with one of these. At the same time, it gave me lots of problems. Unreliable as hell. Keep up the good work, Joe!

you probably did something wrong with your car then. Still got mine and it never failed me

@@GrandMechant Not really. The EP6 engine (1.6 VTI 120 cv) is famous for being unreliable, unlike the HDI.
