Bought my B-King in February 2013, it was three years old with just 3 miles on the clock it was in a motorcycle dealership after being in a bike collection from the day it was registered . Beauty of a bike to ride .

the most underated bike out there.awesome machine.why suzuki why please make them again best bike i ever had.only sold it because i emigrated.i think when they were launched in November 07 people were afraid of them'woe a naked hayabusa no way dude'.I know when i bought mine the salesman near done his best to tell me to stay away from it there crazy(what a tool).but i was a bit afraid riding it for the first time even though i had owned 4 hayabusa's before.withnessed another salesman in a suzuki dealership do the same to a potential customer.so i think suzuki dealers were just partly to blame for bad sales and they were slightly overpriced too.

At the time, they were a bit pricey. However, the build quality was rarely good for a Suzuki. There were no bare unpainted parts on this motorcycle...and a lot of it was anodized. And it WAS a beast. 3rd gear at 60mph would rocket me up to 130 so dang fast that I couldn't even really enjoy how hard it was accelerating because it was all I could do to literally hold on. It was fun for sure.

I have watched your video several times to remind me not to sale mine. They are special bikes. Unique to look at and with 115 plus ft lbs torque, ... plenty exciting to ride when compared to modern big CC motorcycles.

Aaaaaaagh. I won't have the money until early next year, whereupon I will be in the market for exactly this bike. I wish I could purchase it from you, because you left the exhaust stock, and the small modifications you did make are excellent; more importantly, though, it looks clean and I'm certain it is in excellent condition. I'm in Louisiana, but I would have NO compunction about driving up to Arkansas to personally put the cash in your hand to buy this lovely bike. I'm amazed you can part!

It is nice. Arkansas has some amazing roads for motorcycling. The best time to ride is from October thru January. Depending on which area of the state you live, the average daytime high in the winter is 55-60 degrees which is plenty warm if wearing good gear. In the Little Rock area it is not unusual to have days in the heart of winter with highs in the 70's. Best part is winter means the end to the crazy humidity.

This bike is like art, it's beautiful minus the exhaust. I actually wanted one for my first bike haha. I have a sv650 but use a sv1000 as well. No experience here haha

I agree, hardly ever soap and water my bikes. Occasionally S100 but always Honda Pro polish and a good wax. My bikes look brand spanking new ! Im in my 50's now and have a ZX-10R and TL1000-R but am looking for something more comfortable like the B-King!

Awesome bike . Just a little info on mopar . Either it's a wedge head design or it's a Hemi . So I'm guessing you really did have the hemi .

Yes, I was being hyperbolic. Basically saying Loud Pipe Harley Guy was making wet fart noises and my B-KING was a genuine Saturn V Rocket.

Hi Scottie Ray, Great review. I’m looking at potentially buying one of these (very hard to come by and when I do see them they’re very far away). My main concern is my height. I’m 6’6 275 with about a 35/36” inseam which makes it difficult for me to ride SS bikes. Given the mods you put on it for additional legroom, do you think the B-King would fit me, or i might be too cramped given my height? Thanks!!
@highwayman12183 жыл бұрын
Riding a BK would be total suck for you. Even with dropped pegs youd be miserable.
@bosunchair137 күн бұрын
I'm 6'2 and put 2'' lowered pegs on mine. You would have no problems. I've got a long inseam also.

Are these comfortable for taller guys? I'm 6'4" and found one for sale for a good price. I def like powerful bikes so that doesnt bother me.

The pegs are still quite high on a stock B-KING...which is one of the reasons I didn't like riding my 2008 Hayabusa SE. My B-KING had a BUELL foot peg mod that made it tolerable.

scottieray What did you get after the Bking?
@scottieray9 жыл бұрын
An FZ-09...which is a total blast to ride, but I miss the presence of the B-King. Seriously, the B-King is probably the most well-built modern Suzuki motorcycle. There was not an unpainted/unannodized part on that bike. It would have been lovely if it had not weighed almost 600lbs full of fuel.
@EEEBA19 жыл бұрын
I agree the FZ is awesome. I was looking at getting a Bking but the weight is the only thing that's making me hesitant.
@mickyboy45044 жыл бұрын
where did you get footpegs?
@scottieray4 жыл бұрын
Those were from a Buell Ulysses...which was their 'ADV' motorcycle. Those pegs gave me about an extra inch of leg room. Doesn't sound much but it was much better than stock. Stock the B-KING had a pretty tight seat-to-peg distance.
@highwayman12183 жыл бұрын
Check out knight designs pegs. I have em on my BK. They offer em in 1 and 2 inch drops. The stock setup is so uncomfortable.

Thousands of reviews, pointless, nobody talk about, how many gears, air cooled or liquid, quick shifter, hydraulic clutch or wire, horse power, torque, cruise control, dashboard shows gear change or not.

Detailing spray over soap and water ? .. dude seriously .. detailing spray is for shows .. just to get that small layer of dust of the bike from riding it over .. or transporting it in a trailer .. nothing beats soap and water .. so trying to tell viewers that they should NOT use soap and water if they want a good looking bike .. thats just dumb :-s all you do on a "dirty bike" with detailing spray is rub around the sand and crap on the paint while using DS .. reason you only use it for shows where the bike is NOT dirty
