@@lordofbiscuits1911 iknow itd probably not the best beginner bike but I jus totaled my 08 si civic I was parked a gas station and a truck came outta nowhere totaled me while I was still in the car about to get out to get fuel. So I had bike experience before nothing on this level tho so I'm getting a check for like 9k I am guna pull the trigger on it

Honestly I would buy the bike and try to resell it, but for a first bike it would be the last thing I would get on. They are a bit heavy, and supercharged that throttle is going to be hard to handle. If you get it, please find some friends with other bikes and ride those first and get a little experience before riding it

What sprockets did you change to? -1+2? Did it make a huge difference in acceleration?

Yes I used vortex sprockets and did a -1 in front and +2 in the back. Made a massive different and much better to ride in the city at alower speeds but didn't kill it on the highway

@@lordofbiscuits1911 ok thanks im thinking about doing the same of just staying stock front and +5 in rear which is close to the -1+2 but suppose to use the bike tq better and less wear on chain . What do you think?

@@chevy19699 I've never tired doing a +5 on the bad, but assume it has the same effect. You might have trouble finding one since -1+2 is so popular. Honestly it's an easy 20 min job and dont need a new chain going a little smaller in the front and little bigger in the back

Hello! I also have a 08 Busa and I had an argue with another Busa owner, who happens to be my friend, about the colour of the handlebar plate. On mine, the plate is satine grey, just like it appears to be on your bike. He sais that this is not the original one and that the bike must have been crashed by the previous owner. The Suzuki dealer here in Romania could not give me an answer. Do you know if this grey handlebar plate is the original one? I hope it is😀. Thank you!

They might have made two different ones, but mine is original from Suzuki.

@@williamwaugh6125 for the price they aren't bad. I just bought a pre painted set for my R6 and came with all new mounting hardware and I dont have to paint them.

Well I paid $3100 at an auction for it and dropped about $500 into fixing things. But overall they are worth anywhere from 4k to 7k depending on condition
