Hi there! Thanks for the great video! Quick question- is the comfort module the same as the body control module? I've got a 2009 VW jetta with all the signs of a bad BCM but when i look online the BCM seems like it might be the same thing as the comfort control module? Thanks!

I'm nearly certain it's the same thing. Crazy how the same computer box can go by a bunch of different names depending on the company.

If you stumble on this video for 2010. It is NOT in the same location. I am not even sure it looks the same. Whatever is under the passenger seat might be it. Not sure. I am still looking

Above the brake pedal. Flat black box with multiple color connectors.

This was pulled for a customer who bought it. It likely needs synced to work with the vehicle it is being put in as electronics go these days. Not much plug and play stuff anymore.
