I'm looking at getting one of these for my 2010. I've read and heard all the bad stories of the 5.4 3v, but so far I'm pretty impressed. Granted I probably should have held out for a Coyote powered truck to come my way but the 09/10's are getting so cheap now it's hard to walk away. They don't make the same power as the Coyote, but coming from a 1998 F-150 with a dogged out 4.6 2v...I'm happy with the power comparatively. This truck dynos at the wheels what the 2v put out at the crank on a good day.

Why does my VIN locked on Superchips when I first got the device I update it on the computer game I came to the truck and saved my stock programs then I added performance did the tire upgrade and then installed it then I went back to tune and I hit stock it downloaded the stockpile back to the truck and then I turned it again with performance and then I corrected the tire size now my device says Vin locked need help

Never had a single issue with mine. Tow with it every day.

149k on my 2010 5.4L with 3.73’s no issues. Regularly tow 8,500. Would like an improved shift pattern for the towing. Other than that, it’s been outstanding.
