On my 2013 EX, I had a black cable connecting the door key lock to the back corner of the new actuator. It pulls straight out of the actuator with some force. Look at the new actuator and you can see two tabs inside the actuator where the black cable connects. You may have to pry on these tabs with a flat head to release the black cable. Other than that, this video was a big help. Thank you!!!!

I just picked up a Pilot, the drivers side lock keeps wanting to lock as I'm driving, so I'm sure it's the actuator, I've replaced other cars' in the past, but the little details in this video will help make replacement easiear. If you pull down on the glass run channel about 1-2 inches you can move it up out of the way. it just slides into a channel up at the top

I am using your video and so far it has been very helpful. But I am doing the driver side and I am stuck with the door handle mechanism that connects to the actuator. How do I remove the door handle mechanism from the actuator so that I can pull the actuator out?
