I removed the front exhaust pipe completely out the way and had a lot more room to work.

Gotta love skipping the hardest part - removing the old one. Did you loosen the exhaust to remove it? Possibly the motor mount on that side?

If it’s leaking does that mean it can’t be fixed or total replacement looks like a pain in the back side kinda job thanks for posting

You said you needed to take the bracket off but never showed how or where the 3 bolts are and didn t show putting the bracket back

So you didn't end up removing the bracket that holds the power steering pump? You just removed that bottom bolt but left that bracket in place?

I use rockauto for nearly everything. Be sure to flush or do fluid change through the whole system before replacing the pump and put a power steering magnetic filter on to extend life of the next pump and rack.
