Hi. I'm glad I found your video. I just recently purchased a 2009 Nissan altima hybrid. I bought it from a friend, who the car belonged to her sister who passed away recently so the car was left sitting for a few months. It only has 80,000 miles on it but it needed a new hybrid battery, unfortunately. But I got lucky on the battery. Nissan wanted over $10,000 to install a new battery. My mechanic told me about a company who will install reconditioned batteries for $2000. Alot more affordable. For that price, they came to my house, installed the battery, I got a lifetime warranty that if anything goes wrong with the battery, they will replace it for free. I just had it installed a few days ago. I'm getting an education on hybrids now. So if anyone out there owns an older hybrid, and you need a hybrid battery, I highly recommend this company. They are called, Green Bean Battery. And that's all they do is install hybrid batteries. The guy did a great job and everything is working fine now. Just thought I would share this information for anyone who's thinking about buying a hybrid. Oh and they have installers across the country. Just put in your zip code and they will tell you where the installer will be coming from.

I have a 2009 Altima hybrid that I bought in 2011. I had the original 12V battery changed last year and I have had no issues with the hybrid battery and I have 170K miles currently on it. I had some issues with the check engine light a few times and my mechanic sprayed something in it to pass emissions a few times but it resolved itself ad no more check engine light. I love my Altima hybrid! My biggest issue is the trunk space s cut in half.

These are really good cars. I wish the newer Nissans were this solid.

I subscribed but have a question if want a 2009 with heated seats my only request what is a fair price to pay? its tax time but I'm on a budget

Thanks for subscribing! Hard to say on price. Condition and mileage are a factor. I’d say anywhere between $2,500-$5,000. Check kbb.com as well for comparison. Good luck!
