This is very similar to the gts in australia, the best car we can buy here. it is also a 6.2 and it has 570hp in a 4 door sedan. The aust on has a little more power but a lot more money. no traction at the lights if u go all the way down but still great. Love the sound. great vid

+Jose Villegas the only thing I know of that you need to make sure has happened is the Supercharger swap. This was an issue with these cars, and this one actually had the supercharger swapped a few months ago under warranty! I would try and find a owners forum and ask some questions there! As owners they know everything that goes on with their cars!

How do you go about getting cars for your reviews?
@TheDutchTexan9 жыл бұрын
Family & Friends. But I suppose I would review other cars as well. But, that would require me to get on ThatDudeinBlue 's level. And that, I am not.
@MrGovenator19 жыл бұрын
The Dutch Texan Well I would be interested in letting you review my Genesis. At the moment though it needs new tires pretty badly though. I am all so not sure how it would compare to one that hasn't been in a accident. I still don't feel like mine drives like it did when I first got it. I could very well be over thinking it though. I am pretty OCD about it, so it might not actually have any issue.
@TheDutchTexan9 жыл бұрын
That would be cool for sure. I never drove a genesis before! But we'd have to see when schedules line up and such. (I only got weekends off, and usually film on sundays). just give me a shout at thedutchtexan[att]hotmail.com and we can discuss. I wouldn't worry about the accident too much. I think they fix cars pretty well, and unless the hit was a major one that tweaked the chassis it is unlikely it drives any different.
@MrGovenator19 жыл бұрын
The Dutch Texan I only have weekends off too, so those days would work for sure.
@crewdawg214 жыл бұрын
I'm thinking about buying one...
@TheDutchTexan4 жыл бұрын
The owner still has it, over 100K miles. Supercharger was replaced under warranty, you need to check that this is done because $$$. Also, check the suspension and make sure it works right and there are no clunks. No rear end noise. Trans shifts solid. Buy it, drive it, but have a decent chunk set aside in case something breaks! Plenty of high mileage examples out there, so they are solid cars. But maintenance is paramount. Also, try and buy factory stock. You want to find the token one "owned by the average 50-60 year old" with not too many miles on it.
@crewdawg214 жыл бұрын
@@TheDutchTexan The one I'm looking at is actually a 2014. Supercharger has been replaced a well as the pulley and a couple other things. About 29,000 miles and the person that's selling it I work with... it was a fad for him & he can't afford to drive it anymore! His loss and my gain!
@josevillegas96188 жыл бұрын

@TheDutchTexan7 жыл бұрын
+creature Nasty yes, yes I would. Just make sure the supercharger issue has been resolved (swapped out for a new one with paperwork to back it up) and the suspension is not making any weird noises.

Cadillac simply back-teched what a E55 compressor already was. And bone stock the E55 is toe to toe with the new '09 V. So close in 1/4 mile that the driver would be the only difference. Top end is 191 for the V and 198 for the E55. I love both & own one.
