On a hot Florida day these cars heat soak like crazy especially after doing consecutive pulls. Also, being a GM tuner, the iat spark modifier table is being overly conservative pulling timing way too early. You’ll see once you dive into the tune on this thing. They’re absolute animals with basic mods and a good tune.

I just did a pull with my 150lb girlfriend in the car timing it in this cold winter air and she got it at 6.85. I bought the car from the original owner who said it was stock other than the stock clutch. Does that sound stock with cold air? This car absolutely rips lol. Only mods I’ve done are lightweight wheels saving like 40lbs and a 335/35r16 toyo RR on the back

Glad to see you getting seat time, its nice to see you giving this car the time I didn’t have. I think you did very well considering the weather. The best I ran was 7.67 in perfect air(50-60 degree and low humidity) using no lift shift and running 3rd further. I think you’d be right there in good weather and NLS. Great content.

Stage 3 TSP blower cam, PRC cnc ported heads, flex fuel, FBO, 1440cc FIC injectors, Kong X ported blower, DSX aux pump. Monster clutch with a tick master cylinder. Solid setup no hiccups. Super driveable too. It is just a dream machine.
