Allison Krause is at the forefront of bluegrass and medium Robert has always admired. Makes perfect sense to me and the album is amazing. It deserved the honor.

Miss Krauss won her 22nd THROUGH 26th Grammy that night. She won her 27th the next year, giving her the highest number of ANY female artist and tied with Quincy Jones for the number two spot overall.
