Katy is actually kind when it comes to songwriting. Someone can edit just a few words and be counted as a songwriter (Katy gave Dagny credit on "Love You Like That" despite her even saying Katy needed to give her credit). Most of the additional songwriters on her songs are like editors, recommenders or like mentors. Katy comes up with the ideas and she asks the other songwriters for help to make it sound better. Katy CAN write on her own songs alone. She did it when she was 16, so I'm sure she can still do it today!

I agree with the fact royals was played to much on the radio ect still good song but the fact they played it to much made me prefer other stuff on her album/single. not sure if its true but I heard somewhere even she wanted royals banned from the radio because it might have ruined the song for majority of listeners. its also annoying how they make her look like a one show pony when she is far from it.
