Went through same journey with my batteries on my truck. Weak batteries less then 1 year old fried my starter due to its low output. $300 USD later, new starter and fires right up. Car runs the way it does because of the care it's gotten. My truck is 27 years old and like your car does so well because of the maintenance done, so well done.
