Thanks Charles, an easier job than I imagined. Was on the fence on spending an extra $50 for complete unit until watching this video. Time and safety factor we’ll worth the extra money. 👍

This was excellent. I’ve done struts before but not in a few years. Did the rear shocks yesterday. Gonna do the front struts next weekend. Thanks.

Thanks, Charles! Awesome video! The paper towel in the socket, and the punch were new to me, so thanks for those useful tips!

Thanks for the video 👍 Recently ordered KYB front and rear struts for our 2006 Ody with over 220K. It’s been a great vehicle so I opted to spend a little more. We tow our water crafts during the summer to lake, so hopefully these struts will last...

I like KYB. Used them many times and been happy with them

Thanks for the informative video. My 2009 stabilizers do not have a flat spot on the back. They have Allen wrench center which is useless and rounds out under pressure of the rust. So it's not as easy of a job as I now have to cut them off and put on new ones.

Yep, been there many times

I ran across this recently. Try getting a vice grip on behind the strut tab. It made all the difference for me. Just be careful with the end link boots

This was true for my 2009 as well. The replacements I used have flats for a wrench, though, so no struggle next time.

Andy, though my questions is not related to this video. My 2008 Honda Odyssey Sway Bar broke (not the link). Do I need to unbolt the sub-frame to replace the sway bar?
@snoopdog64264 жыл бұрын
Nicely done.

That one is the Braun from Harbor freight. I also have an Astro :Pneumatic 40SL. The Astro is built better, but the Braun pivots which is really nice.
