I had the same problem. My original starter, very old. Solenoid finally went out. I replaced the starter. Done! Take the fans out of the way, which is really easy. Replacing the starter is NOT super easy, except compared to paying hundreds $$$ to my local friend, again. No thanks.

Might be starter or spark plugs, I just started having the same problem and to bypass it I just stomp the gas pedal as I turn the key and it starts 😅

It's a flaw all Mazdas have; I have a 2006 mazda5 and that same thing started happening about 2 yrs ago. And now it has done it almost everyday; no click, no sound no nothing... And what I have discovered is when you disconnect the battery, and then reconnect it and wait for the processor to reset, then, turn the ignition key to start, it'll start.

Rebuilds are not completely remade. Remanufactured replaces all of the wear parts.
