2009 Mercedes-Benz M-Class. The M-Class is Mercedes-Benzs contender in the growing mid-size luxury SUV arena, battling such heavyweights as the Lexus RX 350, BMW X5 and Infiniti FX. Unlike the original M, which rode on a truck-like body-on-frame architecture, the newest M-Class is closer in design to a very tall passenger car. The unit body gives the M-Class greater structural rigidity, and allows for better ride and handling via a fully independent suspension. The M-Class comes in three flavors including a potent V8 model dubbed the ML550, and the miserly ML320 CDI which uses Mercedes-Benzs clean diesel technology. Standard features include air conditioning w/dual-zone climate controls, interior air filter. tilt/telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel w/radio controls, cruise control, 8-way power front seats, power sunroof, outside-temperature indicator, and universal garage door opener. Options include a navigation system, rearview camera, leather upholstery (pitiful that it isn't standard), power liftgate, rear climate controls, premium sound system, rear radio controls, and 10-way power front seats.

This is not a 2009 model because it is not facelifted. This is a 2008 or earlier model. I could tell by how the headlights looked.

ON THE 2008 THERES SHOFTER BUTTONS LOCATED BEHIDN THE STEERING WHEEL AND YET I'VE SEARCHED AND SEARCHED VIDEOS WBESITES AND NOBODY TALKS ABOUT WHAT THESE BUTTONS DO..THEY SELECT THE UP GEARS 1-7 ON THE DASH BUT WHEN YOU WANT TO DOWN SHIFT IT JUMPS STR9 DOWN TO ONE.DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT THESE BUTTONS FUNCTIONS ARE IN 2008 MODEL ..ONLY THE 2008

The fact that they always have a "check engine" on, my friend has repededly taken his to the dealership. And that on the old ML, the engine takes a good ten seconds to start up, my uncle used to have one and it only had 100,000 miles.

@pendulumrulez An XC90 V8 Sport isn't a women's car. Look up the reviews on youtube they're pretty good and it's a car that's a bit cheaper than main rivals. RX350 is for the wife, I just say that I drive it because I own it. Plus it's very comfortable, not sporty but insanely comfortable.

My old 99 ML320 got a check engine light on once, at more than 100K miles due to the MAS going out. Between the 2 Mercs I have, and the two I used to have, Ive logged in three quarters of a million pleasureable miles... Maybe you and your crew just need to learn to take better care of what you have.

Really? Because the Lexus RX350 he also owns has hasn't had any problems. I haven't bought a Mercedes, because they're all just brand name cars. My brother thought I was exaggerating until we got in mr uncle's ML for about a 1 and a half our drive, the next day he was complaining of how the seats made his back hurt. And neither of us are one to complain when any little thing goes wrong.
