2009 Millville Lucas Oil 250cc AMA Pro Motocross Championship (Round 7 of 12)

This is round 7 of the 2009 Lucas Oil 250cc AMA Pro Motocross Championship from Spring Creek Motocross Park in Millville, MN.
Returning contenders like Austin Stroupe, rookies Justin Barcia and SX Lites East Champ Christophe Pourcel, SX Lites West champ Ryan Dungey, Trey Canard, Nico Izzi, Jake Weimer, Brett Metcalfe, South African transplant Tyla Rattray, England transplant Tommy Searle, Broc Tickle, Ryan Sipes and others battle it out for the 2009 Lucas Oil 250cc AMA Pro Motocross Championship. This is the rookie 250cc season of current Team Muscle Milk Honda's Justin Barcia. The injured Trey Canard (10th in points) makes a guest appearance in the booth.

Gotta love the CP377, no other rider is quite like him. It was amazing seeing him again in 2014 he did pretty good for 4 years off. I hope he can get a SX1 and 450 outdoor championship someday

Yes indeed -- I thought it was a major shame that CP377 was not really a contender for the championship this year; I felt he could've at least battled for the championship, but didn't have the best performances despite a win at Unadilla. However, when Pourcel won both the '09 and '10 ESX Lites titles, he threw his own career away for a 450cc ride when he demanded so much money; if that were me, I'd have gone with the team that had the biggest budget.

***** True, but he did race in the U.S. Nationals on the Yamaha 450 for just 3 rounds before he flat-out was a no-show for Mt. Morris because he hated the Yamaha.
