Allisa is everything U want in a U.S. ladies champion, beautiful, magical, superstar presence and the ability to take her fans to a beautiful place when they skate. Up there with Michelle and Sasha as the most beautiful champion in the last 20 years.

Except she was not a great competitor. Katrina Witt was not really a great skater but she was one of the greatest competitors and a bit lucky.

It's a big call , but would put Allysa up there with MK and Sasha as the most beautiful and magical US champion of the modern era, 💓 achingly beautiful.

There is something beautiful about Alissa Czisny when her spins are so perfectly centered, even with her airborne spins on many of her jumps, especially when viewed clockwise. And her combo upright spin especially when you compare it side to side with the combo spins by Yulia Lipnitskaya and Sasha. There are already so many counterclockwise skaters that are prominent.

It would have been Alissa's time to shine. Unfortunately, I didn't see much of her skating because of my mom's illness and other issues that kept popping up so I missed seeing her skate on television. What if Alissa Czisny were to be coached by Frank Carroll... would she excel with her jumps as she has done with her artistry and here spins?
