Bidalot should be doing a run of their 196 twin setup in the new year , they build it for their own cylinders , pipes and ignition so they should know if it works as a whole system.. their cylinders have awesome potential too, and they have built engines for bikes that hold landspeed records at bonneville.

70+ easy. I topped out about 73 on my last trip there’s a lot more in it if you run different tires and sprockets. Mph not whp :). 70whp would be unrideable

Did you ever learn where the problem areas were/are on the sealing the cases? Is there any way to force more air past the belt drive? Sorry about the c-clips. These are interesting videos. Thanks.

yea on the last 140, i believe when we had the crank center section rebuilt, the carrier was machined to a diff spec. thats all i can make of it. The issue isn't the neat its the HP the belt sees.

@@Scooterswapshop , I didn't mean that belt was causing the leak(s). It's just a reliability/livability suggestion. In watching Vespa Motorsport's Vespa videos, he mentioned that Vespa were able to get spec more life from the 150 3v belt by increasing the height/depth of the fins on the stationary part of the variator. I have taken apart Japanese err robotic production equipment where they thought it was so important to keep timing belts cool--that they sprayed compressed air through push-together hose fitting onto the belt, but obviously, you wouldn't want to drill holes in the case, but cool is cool. I always wondered how much CFM/Pressure those crankshaft driven fans put out. Thanks for replying.
