I agree with your comments about the small portion sizes at CVV , which includes there New full English ,which is lacking a few items, and yes that Sunday the Head wind back from my ride to the Old Wharf at Hickling and back to Sandiacre was very very hard work .love the banter and the bikes , Keep Safe .Paul 😎😎.

Amy, take the Carrera out for one of the videos. If nothing else, you will love your pinarello even more. After decades on mtb I've put my 30 years old steel road bike back on the road. Upgraded it with new wheels, brifters etc and I absolutely love riding it.

I was out on the bike yesterday. There was a little bit of sunshine and being mid June I of course put on my short bib shorts and then remembered that this is the UK and put on a long sleeved jersey. I was so cold that I had snot dripping from my nose the whole ride 🥶

That was a good ride to break the new bike in properly, shame about the wind but the scenery was awesome at times👍Before I bought my e bike I always planned my rides to have the wind at my back on the way home😉I had a nice ride yesterday on some of the best roads in my area of Scotland, ended up doing 101 miles because I was enoying it so much😁That's actually my 4th 100 miler in a row and my average this year is just over 75 miles, not bad for a pensioner😆 Awesome video once again Amy😊

Great fun watching you and Kyle. Remember that rest and recovery is a must if you don't want to ride tired all the time. You can do some active recovery with a good walk, or a relaxing swim - or just a couple of days chillin'. I find 4 - 6 days nice steady rides, a couple of harder efforts in between, then a rest as advised by my Garmin recovery coach works well for me. I'm fitter than I've ever been on the bike, and I'm 67 next birthday.

I'm a former "B" International runner, and have previously taken part in world record attempts on the track ( seems like another life now) so even though I'm no spring chicken, I still retain some of the "engine" from my younger days which still puts me in the top percentage of cyclists for my age group - still have to train like a demon though to keep myself there 😅

I think Kyle had rebound Hypoglycemia, runners tend to get it more often than cyclists. You eat, so your body releases insulin to combat the rise in blood sugar, but you are also exercising which in itself reduces blood sugar. This two factors in combination leads bloody sugar to temporarily go too low leading to dizzyness and the shakes etc.

Also called reactive hypoglycemia. You gotta be careful-its resulted in me having seizures twice because of it. Mallorca 4 years ago, UK back in march. Hospitalised both times with temporary loss of memory. It's something I've experienced all my life but now I can manage it and recognise when it's coming on. Currently not allowed to drive whilst they investigate 😢 I have worn a glucose monitor and found out it's caused by high GI and highly processed food for me.
