Thanks. Why did you need to remove the plastic panel 5:30, the camera can be removed normally without it.

another great video ... after we got our Rx450h from the body shop (after rear-end bump), the camera has always been slightly skewed, with the overlay lines not true to the car position. ... does the camera need re-calibrating after you re-install it ? (the option in the service menu is greyed out for us)

It can be calibrated, but normally you don’t have to do it when removing and installing the camera.

If youre having to use a 3rd party camera/dashcam set up, how do you wire it?

You’d have to follow the instructions supplied with the camera, there are so many different ones out there.

Hi, I need a 3rd party rear camera to be constant power so it can record if someone hits my vehicle. I’m having a hard time finding the b+ wire within the tailgate. What color wires and where could I tie into?

@@thebikedog7720 I don’t know if there is a B+ wire in the tailgate area. It would take some time investigating the wiring diagrams to determine that. Or, you can probe around the connectors with a test light or a multimeter and find one.
