It's always pissed me off how that bullshits been labeled as his signature moment when there was so much more to his career. Say what you want, that man led his team to two straight AFC championship games in his FIRST two seasons and had to get through freaking Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. He had so much heart and flashes of brilliance too. All he needed was some weapons, which he did fine with and underperformed like any Qb would when they were taken away. Too many people was pushing the Bears/Packers vs Steelers an was counting the Jets out all week leading up to the game. The Jets messed up by not giving Rex Ryan whatever he asked, yes whatever he asked. 2 AFC Championship Games back-to-back an you knock off Manning & Brady in that span? That coaching an energy he gives to the locker room you can't replace an of course NFL front offices don't know this or even care. Rex Ryan should still be coaching the Jets the 2010s would've been better to that franchise an not horrible as it became. Let hope with the big names they have now that Zach Wilson is the answer. The injury to Pouncey totally screwed the Steelers for the Super Bowl. Yes, I know Charles Woodson was lost for the Pack during the game too, however, the Steelers also lost Emanuel Sanders during the game who had a good year. Also, the Pack's strength was their offensive passing attack and Rodgers had all his weapons. Losing Pouncey changed the dynamic of the Steelers running schemes and protection for Ben up the middle. Hence, the pick 6 he threw in the SB never happens if Pouncey is there to protect him when his arm got hit. He had Wallace with a step on the corner and it was going to be a 99 yd TD pass. As well, Pouncey allows the Steelers to commit to running the ball more in the SB, therefore keeping Rodgers off the field longer.
@Bob3141511 ай бұрын

Ice J exactly, they would burn the clock up to the two minute warning and then after. When you save your 3 timeouts for this, then you can spend them when they try to burn the clock. If your defense is good enough, you won’t allow the first down and get the ball back with about 1:45-1:50 left. You won’t have any timeouts, but you at least give yourself a chance on offense. If you burn your timeouts before the two minute warning and they end up getting the first down, you put all your eggs in one basket and have nothing to stop the clock after the two minutes. Either way it’s all based on your defense, so it’s 50/50 tbh

@Utuubuploader20122 жыл бұрын
THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE STEELERS STRIKE AGAIN. I am so sick of people ignoring the fact that the Steelers reached three Super Bowls basically only because they avoided New England all three times. That literally means the Steelers were never actually the best team that year, just that other teams did their dirty work. Their 2005 run was still tough (although, Kitna and Plummer, cmon man) but the 2008 and 2010 paths to the big game were JOKES. 8-8 Chargers and a rookie Flacco both at home because Brady was hurt and the 13-3 Titans slipped up? Check. Good-but-not-great Ravens team then the wild card Jets instead of going on the road to play the 14-2 Patriots who beat you 39-26 at home in the regular season? Check. At least the Ravens and Peyton Manning beat the Patriots to win Super Bowls. The Jets were basically victims of their own success - by taking out Brady and Manning they made it easy for the Steelers. Thankfully, the Packers showed them who was boss in Super Bowl XLV.
@ReflectionOfPerfection2 жыл бұрын
That's pretty much it. The Patriots knocked out the Steelers three times on their road to Superbowl victories and the Steelers avoided the Patriots all 3 times they went to the Superbowl....although to be fair the Steelers would have beaten them in 2008 without Brady. 2005 would have been a crapshot because the Patriots were missing too many guys but the game would have been in Foxborro. Patriots hung 39 points on Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh in 2010 and it's doubtful they would have played better in a rematch.
@Utuubuploader20122 жыл бұрын
@@ReflectionOfPerfection Yes, precisely. The Pats were less than a year removed from a perfect regular season in 2008 and if Brady stayed healthy it's hard to imagine anyone would have beaten them that year -- especially the Steelers. Even if Pittsburgh had beaten NE without Brady, it would have been an asterisk. 2005 would have been interesting because that was a bit of a flawed Patriots team, but they dominated the Jaguars at home in the wild card round and remember the Pats had already beaten the Steelers in Pittsburgh in Week 3 that year. 2010 there's little doubt the Patriots would have taken that one. When the Jets beat them in Foxborough, they were literally doing backflips on the field, which proved that the Jets had just played their Super Bowl and had nothing in the tank for Pittsburgh the next week.

@@Utuubuploader2012 Two things. First is the Pats lost both Matt Light and Rodney Harrison for the season in that Week 3 game in 05 so if the Patriots survived Denver it wouldn't have been easy the following week. We had such an awesome run defense back then we only allowed one yard on the ground to the Jets in the entire first half of that AFC Championship such an awesome run defense black and yellow black and yellow black and yellow black and yellow

You go by the season though. Yes, the actual game was played on January 23, 2011 but it was the 2010-11 NFL Season. 😎

This Steelers team would have beaten the Pats as well.

@Eagletotravel101 right and the Pats eviscerated the steelers early that same season. Like you said, the Pats just played like absolute garbage, not at all living up to their 14-2 Brady MVP year. Just made no sense to see them struggle that much.

BS. The Jets beat the Patriots because they had an elite defense and the right personnel to stop Brady. The Steelers didn't have a Revis to eliminate Welker or a Cromartie to negate Deion Branch. Not to mention Brady knows Mike Tomlin's defense better than he does. No way the Steelers come to Foxboro and win

Literally this second half was a direct display on how Bum Steelers we’re going to be in the SB

What a moron. Of all videos you could watch you are here. Get over whatever the Steelers did to your team because neither your team is as salty as your ass is.

Of all of the years that i have watched the nfl playoffs, this was the most rigged made me pissed off playoffs ever. Saints and colts lose in the wildcard round, falcons and patriots lose in the divisional round, i didn't give a crap about the bears, and two conference title games that never should of happed
