2010 ford ranger 2.3 review and update

I just bought my Son a 2008 with the 2.3L with 98K miles on her from a family who’s old Father owned it and passed. The condition of the truck was amazing. I love to tinker so I just replaced everything I could to make it ready for the next 100K. New Ignition Coil, New Park Plugs, Wires, Fuel Filter, Ran 2 Cans of Techron Fuel Cleaner through it, cleaned the IAC and just last night replaced all 4 shocks with Bilsteins. Also added a new Single Din Alpine Head unit and 4 new Fosgate 6x8 speakers. This truck is awesome, and with my over the top oil change intervals (3K miles), I expect this truck to get over 300K miles. Transmission Fluid was already done and looked like it was brand new, and the coolant was also changed.

They are fairly high here now I want another fx4 ranger but a decent one is 8-10k here

I bought an 08 ranger with 2.3 and 5 spped standard in 2013, had 46,000 km on it, under 30,000 miles. Paid $8,500 canadian. Mine had no ac. not really needed in CANADA. I have 95,000 km on it now. I got 31 mpg hwy in 5th gear.

Got 89 ford randgerl got seven hundred 80 thousand actual miles . Little beat up body but still runs outstanding

I’m on market place a lot but honestly since I can do most work myself I look for them needing a fix of some kind. Buying one around here needing a little work especially a trans issue will save you thousands
