2010 Ford Taurus Review

We spent three days with the Ford Taurus and while SUVs and crossovers seems to be selling more and more, Ford still is putting their weight behind this four-door sedan. While it has moved upmarket a bit in this generation, it still stays true to its roots by providing a comfortable place to do lots of miles in.

Don’t buy. Water pump is internal and when it goes, and it will. You have to drop the motor. It’s too bad cause we loved taking that car on trips. We just drove from Oakland, CA to San Diego, CA. We’re back in Oakland and car is in San Diego with the engine filled with water(coolant) Only 135k on the odometer. It was a great car until it wasn’t.

Also,how long do you expect a water pump to go for? 130k is past its projected lifespan; she did good? Sounds like you don't understand vehicle maintenance and blame your car?

You don't have to drop the motor to get to the water pump.
