wow at how terran-slanted it was back then. I heard Artosis mention fruitdealer could win as zerg when zerg couldn't win anything. It was a very accurate statement. I am not an expert of all the eras, but I've never seen an era that was zerg favored. It's just the people with psychotic skill levels pick zerg. terran micro is stutter stepping and drops, OR snipes. Terran can't even use raves vs zerg, which would help in probably every single game. If they could, zergs would never win anything. Meanwhile zergs are using infestor and viper with queens in pretty much every medium-long game. Zergs had marines for a while (which couldn't skim) and with their skill level marines were overpowered. Only lower skilled terran players should be allowed to have marines.

Revisionist history. Zerg was weak at the beginning of WoL, but after a few buffs it became the strongest race, up to the point of being frankly overpowered in the Broodlord Infestor era of late WoL. Most progammer would say that Zerg is still the strongest race to this day, or at least the easiest to be consistently good at the top level. Zergs' "marines" (infested terrans) were overpowered not because of zerg players supposedly amazing micro (no one would micro infested terrans given how slow they were) but because they were free units, costing no minerals or supplies, and could be summoned in mass anywhere very quickly from a invisible unit who also had a more powerful psionic storm. The idea that terran micro is easy or that terran players are bad at micro is frankly ridiculous. Terran players are the only one to get RSI from how much they have to micro their units compared to the other races.
