The perfect daily driver in 2019 for under 10k. Reliable,nice looking, quick, easy on gas and even stands strong in its class.

These FXs are extremely reliable. They are built like tanks. I have the FX35 with 219k miles and it still runs like the day it did 6 years ago when I bought it with 55k miles. They are literally built like tanks. I wouldn’t get the V8 though because of gas mileage. The V6 I’m sure is much easier on gas.

Crazy, but I still want one! Amazing sound from the n/a V6 and still looks like nothing else. And after replacing my touch screen for $1,500, I like the idea of separate audio/climate buttons/knobs.

An fx50 under 10k is hard to find a fx35 maybe

I prefer the Infiniti all the way! It has a nice engine sound, reliable car, the best design, nice sound system, better in everything, it is the best.

Can't believe the styling has aged as well as it has, I still want one ... 7 years later! I've not driven the V-8, but really like the sport/luxury blend of the naturally aspirated V-6. Probably overdue for a refresh, but I don't think I'll like this one any less -

+kjscoleman I couldn't agree more. I had a 2006 FX35, and people always thought it was almost brand new even as late as 2016 when it was unfortunately stolen (I was robbed; they didn't break in and steal it) and totaled. I'm now looking at getting a great deal on a lightly used FX50/QX70 w/ V8. I love the Nissan/Infiniti 3.5/3.7 engines, but I'm at the point where I need that V8 in my life, and I'm very happy to see how well this vehicle has aged. It's insane how far ahead of its time it was in 2003.

@@@VegasAudiophile : Go and get one! Here in Europe the V8 luckily was available until the end of production. In 2017 it was time for me to get one and the Infiniti dealer made an offer I couldn`t refuse. It was the best decision I could have made. This car makes me happy every single day! It is such a shame that Infiniti will leave Western Europe in 2020.

Why would he compare the FX50S to a piece of shit like the X6? X5 and X6 are just overprice German crap. Cost too much to own and not as reliable as Japanese vehicles which cost ten times less to own.

@d3r0n I drive the FX35 and I have no problem with it because it compensates and derive more power using torque vectoring technology. Trust me when I am on a stop position from a red light and hits the gas when the light turns green, I always leave the others behind including the BMW. Torque vectoring makes all the difference.

Ya, I agree with iceman5815 BMW is crap breaks a lot and overpriced!!! Infiniti has quality for the money not overpriced.

@bigcrowfly I disagree. The FX is among the few cars with high resale vaue. I know this by experience because I was playing around the option of purchasing brand new or certified pre-owned. As an example, a 2007 FX35 with Tech package, touring and handsfee package, average of 25 - 45K miles, still cost $31K. A brandnew FX35 in 2007 cost around $40-42. Do the math that was 4 yrs ago.

@d3r0n they will do that on the 2012 fx and put the g's 3.7 engine and should get about 325 hp and call it fx37.

@Johncarson9113 LOL on comparing the X6 to an X5 with a humpback. I think you have been too kind on the X6. I would aptly call the X6 as a glorified Pontiac Aztek. Look up the Aztek and you would know what I mean. Peace! :-D

@h4h4h4 LOL honestly even though this is your own opinion, if you dont like the design in the 2010 FX then Im sure you dont find Maserati, Lambo nor Aston martin appealing, all these cars hold exotic unique design that distinguish and seperate their own brand. The FX looks like no other car on the road, where else will you ever find a SUV that looks unique and modern as this?? A BMW X6 is just an X5 with a humpback, an Audi Q5 is just a smaller Q7, a lexus LX is just a larger GX.

Reviewer: You can think about the BMW X50, but you won't get into one for the price of an FX50S. The BMW will easily surpass 72k MSRP, the FX will not.

Infiniti as of now stands as the best luxury brand period!!! as far as style and price goes they have no equal!! and by the way I think BMW cars are ugly as fuck and the only good looking car is the 3 coupe and convertible.
