2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 Ford Explorer GPS Navigation no signal shows wrong location. GPS module replacement. Don't recommend used parts as they will eventually fail as well. New part has been modified for better longer lasting operation.

Thank you so much for your video!!! I have a 2011 Explorer and have been dealing with this issue for a long time. Kept seeing the red "X" over the GPS symbol and my Navigation showing me driving miles away from my actual location. I purchased this part for $50 including shipping. Thanks to your video I was able to do this in 15 minutes and surely saved hundreds of $$$. This was an immediate fix!! I replaced this 2 weeks ago and having no more problems. Navigation works perfect! In case anyone else has this issue the actual part number I received was FB5Z-10E893-B. Thanks again !!!!

I know its been a while since someone last commented on this but I would appreciate the help here. I have a 2012 Ford Focus SEL with My Ford touch and was getting no GPS signal. I looked where you did in this video behind the dash and there was no gpsm module present nor was there a cable. I bought this car used is it possible it was removed or is it in a different location on this vehicle? Thanks for the help!

I replaced my battery on my limited 2012 Explorer cause my battery died. No GPS . I get the X .....I t disconnect my positive for 10 mins. Still nothing. I see nothing on my screen to reset it. Any other suggestions

Your F150 uses the black egg shaped aerial on the right roof area. Remove the plastic trim at the right A-pillar against the dash that goes to the ceiling. Then remove the visor. At that point you can carefully pull down the headliner to access a 10mm bolt which holds the antenna against the roof.

Your vehicle uses the aerial on the roof. 2 lines come out of the radio and go to a splitter and then up to the antenna. I have seen xm work and gps not.

@@misterp9896 the Expedition uses the egg shaped aerial on the roof for GPS and satellite radio reception. Remove the right front trim that runs from dashboard to ceiling, then remove the right side visor. At that point, you should be able to gently pull the headliner down to expose the 10mm bolt holding the aerial down against the roof. Replacing the aerial should fix your issue, if not you may have a bad radio, but usually it is the aerial.

You probably have an issue with the radio computer. Your system is different.

Try a 5 minute battery disconnect first.

@@FerRod2113 the GPS module is located under the speaker grill in the center of the dashboard. That panel just pops up. It's the black plastic square. Base ford number is 10E893.

Just got off the phone with local Ford Dealer parts department and was told the part alone was around $650 and it would also have to be programmed by the service department for even more money. I'm thinking a stand alone Garmin unit would be more feasible.

They had to of looked up the wrong part. Easily less than $100 for part. Ford base part number is 10E893.

Try disconnecting your battery for 5 minutes, then go to the settings menu and do a master reset. Delete sync from bluetooth menu in phone, then sync up your phone to car again.
