USB plug in a stock console is designed for 6v. Hard wiring it directly to the Pursuit 12v (spikes to 15v) may cause issues. Possible device damage. Cup holder ring lights and cubby light seem to handle the voltage increase just fine. Mopar removed the 6v Pursuit line starting 2015.

jonathan martinez that sensor is actually the antenna for the keyless fob. I called it a yaw sensor which was wrong. The cable has to be there somewhere and must be plugged in to that black antenna or your keyless unlock will not work. When you walk up to the car and put your hand under either of the front door handles for a second they ahould automatically unlock

aux plugs in to the factory harness which goes to the back of the head unit. All other functions of the console are 12V

My USB plug in the console, the usb mini has a wierd voltage drop. At first the palstic block will light up for a few seconds and then dim. i tried two differant cables and the voltage is going from 5v, drops down to like 1.9V and then comes back up. I cant run anything mroe than a few seconds because of it. Have you encountered this issue yourself?

Yes I have, no idea what causes it. I am thinking certain devices have a high load that the usb just cannot handle.

Larry Nance there are some forum threada you can find online, other have done it, not that hard. You just need to find a car at a scrap yard and make sure you get all the parts.

Not really, you can just leave it there or tuck it away in behind the dash/console area. You could probably even just unplug it an remove it all together, I have never tried so I do not know if it will affect the vehicle in any way, but from what I can tell, probably not

Videos from Québec I also have no place to plug in the led light for the cup holder. I know it is a pursuit package straight from the factory so I could see if they didn't out any wiring for the cup holder lights. Any idea where to look in the wiring to find the wires?

What I did was cut the connectors and just spliced the wires. Depending on where you got your console, the wiring harnesses will probably not match up. You have one gray connector with constant power or switched power circuits, I used that.

Do you know if a 2015 console will work with a 2014 and from your video is it mostly just matching which clips go to which? Such as aux, lighter and 12volt?

Correct. The wiring to get the illumination to work as well as the 12V outlets will require you tracing the wires and splicing them to 12V power and ground.

all I did was connected all the wires for power to wires that had ignition switched 12V, and grounded to body of the car.

I only have one, you can probably get one cheap from a scrap yard, or ask a seller on ebay selling parts from chargers, they sometimes have other parts, also try contacting yards on hollanderparts.com Honestly since it is not connected to anything I doubt it is even required ?

Great video. Did your horn work? I have the same veh and am trying to figure out how to reconnect the horn. See,s like I have to continue the circuit from one of the plugs disconnected in the center console. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Shitty video lol filmed the first week I got the car freehand with my phone, but thanks. The hors get disconnected because they use the horn button to activate /change siren tones. The wire could be cut anywhere usually it's behind the glove box on the right side where they splice in to it. You have to remove the glove box and plastic panel behind it to access it. But check under the hood first. They may have disconnected it somewhere there if you are lucky. Should be obvious.

Yes i figured it out shortly after, I made this video shortly after I had just got the car and did not know a whole lot about it. Basically it allows interface of various police equipment and sensors, if you sear for the police up fitter guide you will see the VSIM wire mapping. For example one of the built in features is you can trigger the wig wag lights (alternating headlight and tail light flashing) through this module.

Any simply toggle switch. Grab 12V+ from one of the supplied circuits in the other small gray connector, you have always on, and some that are ignition only. Just apply 12V+ to either the front or rear trigger wires (car has to be on) and they will flash, if they have not already done so you can just cut the trigger wire from the back side of the connector, strip it back and make your connection.
