There is really no much into the programming. There is this program - Forscan. Google for “Forscan spreadsheet”. It has nearly all possible settings Ford vehicles may be coded to. You can see part of it in the Keys programming video I posted couple weeks ago.

Hey I have a f150 platinum 2009 I got cluster 2014 limited I try installing it and it didn’t work do u know why it’s the same cluster as yours

It’s not the same 09-10 has different plug ins and are not compatible with 11-14. Even though the thin screen looks similar to 09-10 on some 11-14s the controls and plug ins were redesigned and are not interchangeable.

I have a f150 2009 platinum so i buy a new 2013 platinum cluster its same conector but when i plug in the 2013 cluster it dont show lights or nothing the truck starts but the cluster dont turn on

People should know this works only on the 11-13 f150s. (Not on the 09-10!!) I Tried it already and failed if someone knows what can I do to use that cluster let me know

The cluster and truck wont turn on at all, I was looking at forums and some people said it could be the BCM's that change over the years

Not sure what the cluster has to do with “no-start” condition for the truck. It’s not a part of the immobilizer system.

I have the same problem. A few Years ago I tried to swap but wont start and no signs of life on the screen.

@@HETPEZB it has something to do with the cluster. I have a 2010 and my cluster sometimes goes blank and when it does the truck will not start and the if the truck is on the ac goes out that’s why I was looking to swap to a 2014 but looks like I have to find a 2010 or try and fix my old one

How did the truck start? I did program the keys to the new cluster with forscan and it says succeeded programming but the truck does NOT start unless I plug the old cluster

Mine is an 09

I may be wrong, but in my case it didn’t matter if it was old or new cluster installed. Truck was starting ok with both of them even before reprogramming.

I would love to do this on my 2011 F150. I have the forscan already. Please provide some details on how to program the mileage. Greatly appreciate it

As far as I know Forscan can’t program the mileage. You need to desolder the memory chip from the board, read it with a programmer, find the section where the mileage is located, encode the correct mileage into the proper format, and write it in the mileage section in the memory chip and solder the chip back.

@@HETPEZB Sorry my guy, but at least on this task, I'm not as advanced as you. Found that you have to remove the 2 bolts in the top, along with the 3 bolts under the steering column.

Steady moving that steering wheel without it being bolted might damage the clock spring. Not really a good idea
