Thanks. She'll stop nice.

That would be the same for a 2013 charger, correct?
@BuckeyeBallistics4 жыл бұрын
Yes. Sometimes auto manufactures may make small changes from year to year, but even if they did, it will be 95% the same. Usually it will be a bolt change or something, but yeah, you'll be good.

Is there another way to get the pads in without a C clamp because I don’t have one
@BuckeyeBallistics Жыл бұрын
Large channel locks/tongue groove pliers with a lot of strength- I have done it before. But you can get a c-clamp pretty cheap from Amazon or Harbor Frieght, less than 20 bucks. Just make sure it's big enough...

Where did you get the rotors and pads from? I’m looking to get a full set for my 2014 RT

@@BuckeyeBallistics do you recommend a certain set of rotors and brake pads?
@BuckeyeBallistics2 жыл бұрын
As in a brand? Yeah, these ones. I have been using them for over a decade on all my cars and they are great brakes for the money.

2017 the same as 11 tru 14 when changing back pads?
@BuckeyeBallistics2 жыл бұрын
I can't promise it's the same, but it should at least be very similar.

Can I use copper anti-seize lubricant on the back of the brake pads?
@BuckeyeBallistics4 жыл бұрын
Why would you want to apply anti seize to any part of a brake pad? I'm lost.

Guns&Cars lubricate.. Stops squeaks
@BuckeyeBallistics4 жыл бұрын
@@HappyFeetBoxing Um, when brakes squeak it's because of bad rotors or pads that need replace, usually pads. The back of the brake pad isn't going to squeak. But sure, put whatever you want on the back, just make sure you don't get any on the rotor or face of the pad that touches the rotor.

I’m having trouble removing the rotors. I turned the star both ways and nothing. Should I just hammer the rotor?
@BuckeyeBallistics4 жыл бұрын
@@HappyFeetBoxing Yeah usually you have to beat on them pretty good with a sledge hammer, all over. It should be counter clockwise on the e brake adjustment thing to pull them away from the drum but try to look in there and double check. Apply some rust penetrator like PB Blaster around the center of the rotor where it slips over the hub and give it a few minutes to soak in. I just did the brakes on our WRX and I had to beat the shit out of them and they still wouldn't come loose until I sprayed them.

What do you mean you never seen e brakes like that they’ve been like that forever

It's called experience. Like when I cook I don't need to measure ingredients to get the right outcome, because I've been doing it so long, I don't need measuring devices to tell me when enough is enough because I already know, because of years of doing it.

I think the whole 18mm thing is a joke. Every single set of sockets and wrenches I own go from 17mm to 19mm with no “18mm”. Very funny tool makers.
@BuckeyeBallistics Жыл бұрын
It's a very uncommon size which is why most budget tool kits don't include it. But yes, it is very infuriating. The only reason I have 18's is because I bought them seperately years ago and then finally got some in my $1500 Craftsman Master Tool Set...
@lorenblaine52752 ай бұрын
Yes, it's supposed to be uncommon, so not included in cheaper sets. I bought a single years ago and it definitely is not rare for me to need it.
