My wiper blade was a slide type lock instead of a pop off. 2015 model. This broke the wiper arm locking piece for the blade, which means a simple blade replacement became an entire wiper arm replacement. Thanks for the detailed video.

Whats the tool called? The plastic that housed the metal ring crumbled when i took it off, it left just a metal ring on the bolt. Do you think this tool will still work?

It's a puller tool. Not sure if it has a specific name but link is in the description and fairly cheap. I would think that it would still work, since the grabber part will grab onto the metal piece and the center piece of the tool will push the bolt through it. Worth a try if you ask me.
