I bought this product from Infotainment and have been very pleased with the unit! My only concern is that my maps are no longer current, and it seems that Chrysler no longer allows updating the maps on this model. This seems absurd, but there are lots of people who own this model and have NO WAY to get current maps. If anyone knows of a solution to this, we're very keen to learn what to do!!

Hi there, We understand the concern. We really wish we had access to the map updates ourselves. Perhaps if enough people inquire to HERE Maps or Garmin (If you're looking at the RHB model) it might make them re-think discontinuing them. As you said, many vehicles currently use these radio models, even the 2018 Wrangler JK which is still a very recent vehicle.

Hello i own a 2014 grand caravan and the radio is basically dead so i tried to replace it and bought one that came from a 2013 Chrysler 300 however upon connecting it, it wont turn on. Is there some sort of reset function i can do?

From us? Yes, we pre-program the radio to the Vin you provide so when it arrives it is 100% plug and play. These do require programming however, so if you are shopping around ensure the company you are getting it from provides programming to the Vin.

Hmm. It is not something we would recomend without getting the unit reprogrammed at the dealer or through us. Those units would need to be cleared and prepared for the new BCM.

If your radio is requiring a code then it has the wrong Vin in it and that is an Anti-Theft code. Use this service and we can reprogram the unit to your Vin. Hello there, Is your factory harness not producing power to the radio? Reason being, if you are trying to upgrade, and you had gotten a radio with the wrong canbus speed, it likely won't turn on. Can you verify the radio you purchased was a High Speed canbus model? I unfortunately can't post full pinouts on youtube comments, but I'm sure if went to the dealership they may be able to provide you the pinout or perhaps you can find pinouts on a MOPAR connector website.

I had the basic non bluetooth radio, I just ordered the touch screen DVD player OEM radio, says bluetooth , do I need something extra to use the bluetooth?? Or is that only to have hands free? I want to stream my music

@changoman Depending on what radio you got please check the bottom right hand corner area if it says RBZ it's the non nav radio you can get our OEM factory hands free calling/bluetooth audio streaming add on with the needed programmer to do this DIY. Absolutely. Just go to our website and search your year/make/model so you get the correct canbus speed model. Please review the things to know in regards to Uconnect Hands Free. The RES, RBZ and RHB use a separate module for bluetooth, while the RHR has bluetooth built into the radio.

Sorry we don't have an upgrade in a factory way to do so for apple car play/android auto. Just the factory navigation, back up camera, hands free calling and a CD/DVD player.

I put a 730n RHR in my wrangler and the radio lights come on red when I turn the lights on. Is this normal?

The red lights mean the radio came from a minivan, either a Dodge or Volkswagen. You can contact NavRepair.com to get those lights changed to the OEM color.

This is a Mopar restriction. Unfortunately Mopar never made a CarPlay and Auto upgrade for the Grand Caravan. If they ever do we will be able to retrofit it back to older vehicle but we have nothing to work on until they develop an upgrade for that vehicle.

I hate the RBZ 430 so much. The bluetooth is so dumb. "BLUETOOTH IS SEARCHING FOR A PHONE TO CONNECT TO: DURING THIS PROCESS AUDIO WILL BE MUTED. WOULD YOU LIKE TO CONTINUE?" The only answer that works is "NO" and it connects to my phone. So F-ing stupid.

What year is your vehicle? The bluetooth module on the RBZ is a bit outdated and the 730N is usually available as an upgrade. The 730N has built in bluetooth Hands-free and audio streaming that is faster and more consistant. I can see if that one would work in your vehicle.
