2011 Chevrolet Aveo Wheel Bearing Replacement

I know this is a old video but the bearing is about 28 dollars did my daughter car took me about a hr it helps putting the bearing in the freezer go ft in just little tapping

Hey so I've never did a bearing like this. I have an 09 can you walk me through what to do need to change the passenger side already had my friend do driver but he's taking to long to do this one and the strut mounts can. U help ??

Anyone know why these Aveo bearings fail so often ? Improper assy. ? Rotor overheating ? Rough roads ?

I have no ideal why but i keep changing mine like every 2 years...this is why i both a bearing puller so i can do it my self at home....but one of i ideal why they fail so often is that the bearing company dont put enough grease in it ...but i also think that it s bad for us but good for them because they keep selling us new one😮‍💨

About how long did the bearing take and what would you price replacement of the bearing at with labor and parts?

I dont remember exactly, but I want to say it was less than 2hrs. This was the first time we had done one on an aveo. I dont know about the price.

If you hammer the new bearing into the knuckle as shown with the old bearing, do not pound on the inner race. Only the outer race surface. Pounding on the inner race can ruin the new bearing.
